Estoy renovando mis herramientas de maquillaje, cuidado de la piel y maquillaje en general.
Quería una nueva kabuki, pequeñita, con tapa para que no se ensuciara con el polvo pero sobre todo sintética.

Today I'm going to talk about the retractil Kabuki from Vanity Tools.
I am renewing my make up tools, skincare products and make up in general.
I wanted a new kabuki, small and with a cover to protect it from dirt and most of all syntetic.



Hace dos años que me compré mi primer kit de brochas después de mirar muchas reseñas y llegó el boom de Sigma y cómo no... caí, porque los precios eran realmente buenos en aquellos días y yo estaba obsesionada con tener brochas de MAC, pero obviamente no me iba a gastar ese dineral.

Two years ago I bought my first brush kit after being reading reviews all over the net and that's when the boom of Sigma came and so I couldn't resist. They prices where really affordable and I was obsessed with MAC, but of course, I was not going to spend that much money on brushes.



La única brocha de MAC que tengo es la angulada 266 y me la compró mi madre cuando me compré mi primer gel liner (que desde entonces no me he vuelto a comprar ninguno por cierto desde que se me secó).
En fin al lío, la kabuki de Sigma es de pelo natural y se me parten los pelos o se sueltan y eso que no la uso a diario y la he lavado desde el principio con champú de bebé cada cierto tiempo, así que en fin, supongo que se esta estropeando. Me raspa un poco y cada vez que me doy polvos se me queda alguno pegado en la cara hasta que finalmente decidí comprarme una nueva.

The only MAC brush I have is the angled 266 that my mum bought me when I bought my first gel liner (which dried up quickly and since then I haven't buy any other). Okay, let's go back to the theme, Sigma's kabuki is made of natural hair but the hair breaks up of falls down when I apply powder and they stick in my face even if I didn't use it every day and took care of it since the first day cleaning it sometimes and only with baby shampoo, so I decided to buy a new one and here's when the Vanity Tools's kabuki comes.

Quería algo más "girly", femenino y me decidí por la retractil de Vanity Tools ya que de las de ebay no me fiaba... y no encontraba ninguna buena. Vi que en la web oficial estaban más caras con gastos de envío incluidos así me decidí a comprarla en lightlightmakeup aprovechando que estaba con un 20% de descuento.
En la web suelen tener descuentos o concursos así que le suelo echar un ojo.
¡Además me mandaron una muestra de un pigmento de Martora! No me lo esperaba... fue el que usé en el look para el concurco de Bourjois.

I wanted something more girly and I decided to buy this one since I couldn't find anything better in ebay. I saw that in the oficial website the prices where higher so I decided to buy it from lightlightmakeup taking advantage of the 20% off that was at the moment.
In this website there are often sale products so I check that out often.
They also sent me a sample of a pigment from Martora! I didn't expect it... it was the one I used for my Bourjois look.



Os contaré en breve las características de esta brocha después de haberla estado usando a diario desde principios de mes.

I'll write briefly the characteristics of this brush after being using it everyday since the beginning of this month.

Características generales / General characteristics:

Kabuki de corte redondo / Round kabuki.
Pelo sintético / Syntetic hair.

Puntos positivos / Positive points:

Pelo muy suave de tacto aterciopelado / Extremely soft hair.
No pierde pelos / Hairs don't fall down.


Difumina estupendamente / It blends amazingly.
Se puede modular la largura que quieres que tengan las cerdas gracias a que es retráctil / You can control the lenght of the hair since it's retractil.
De este mismo modo puedes controlar que las cerdas estén más compactas o más sueltas / This way you can also control how dense the hair is.

Puntos negativos / Negative points:

Color rosa fucsia oscuro metálico (nada que ver con el rosa clarito de las fotos de la web) / Metalized dark pink fucsia colour (nothing to do with the color of the pictures in the website).
El pelo huele un poco a "nuevo" nada más sacarlo de la bolsita pero nada que eche para atrás y con una lavada se quita / The hair smells a bit like "new stuff" at the beginning. Nothing very strong, and it dissapears after washing it.
Tarda dos días en secarse de lo densa que es / It takes two days to dry out because of its density.
La parte retractil es algo flojucha y parece que se puede salir en cualquier momento / The retractil part seems a bit breakable.
