¡Hola! Hace mucho tiempo que no actualizaba el blog. La vida, en ocasiones, se pone en medio y nos impide hacer aquello que tanto nos gusta. A pesar de mi largo hiatus, no podía dejar pasar esta reseña porque realmente me parece que es digna de ser compartida.
Hi! It's been a while since I wrote in this blog. Life sometimes gets a bit hard and we don't have time for what we love. Anyways, I thought that I couldn't go without publishing this review, because it's made a difference n my hair's quality and texture.
¿QUÉ ES FUNCTION OF BEAUTY?
Se trata de una firma de cosmética para el cuidado del cabello y de la piel de origen american que busca satisfacer a cada individuo aportándole la fórmula perfecta para los resultados que desea obtener en su cabello. Por ello, Josh, Zahir y Hien fundaron esta marca, donde comenzaron a ofrecer productos capilares que cada persona podía diseñar en base a sus necesidades.
Muchas ya conoceréis la firma o la habréis visto online. Yo la conocí mediante las influencers a las que sigo.
WHAT'S FUNCTION OF BEAUTY?
It's an american beauty brand that looks to satisfy the need of each individual in terms of hair and body products to get the results they aim to achieve. Thus, Josh, Zahir and Hien founded Function of Beauty, and started offering hair products to which each individual could design the best formulation to meet their needs.
Many of you will already know about Function of Beauty. I knew about this brand because of the influencers I follow.
FÓRMULACIÓN
Ellos mismos comentan que para que sus ingredientes puedan estar presentes en la fórmula de sus productos deben: "cumplir con las las regulaciones de la UE y una lista de 26 puntos más, además de superar las reseñas en formulación de otros ingredientes, conseguir que estos cumplan con los resultados que se buscan para cada tipo de cabello y cuerpo, ser 100% veganos, libres de tóxicos y cruelty-free siempre que nos sea posible".

"To be an ingredient in a Function of Beauty bottle, you'd have to make it past European Union safe cosmetics regulations and 26 checklist items, pass review in formulation with other ingredients, help achieve results for someone’s unique hair/body care needs, be 100% vegan, non-toxic and cruelty-free, and as often as we can help it, be responsibly sourced".

MI OPINIÓN
No os voy a engañar, era bastante escéptica en cuanto a los resultados de estos productos ya que sólo había visto reseñas de influencers, y por malas experiencias del pasado me cuesta encontrar dentro de ese mundo gente de la que fiarme.
Sin embargo, Annie Jaffrey me convenció para hacerme con el combo de champú y acondicionador capilar.
Tras un mes usándolos, estoy encantada con el resultado ya que cumple con los objetivos que yo me marqué. El cabello no tengo menos enredado, más nutrido, brillante, con más peso y he reducido el uso de las planchas porque no hace falta que me las pase a diario como antes.

MY REVIEW
I have to be honest. I was a bit skeptic with this brand and the results they claimed since I just watched reviews from well-known influencers, since I had bd experiences when trying out products from these source that didn't meet my expectations.
Nonetheless, Annie Jaffrey convinced me to make my first order of the shampoo and conditioner combo for my hair.
After a month of use, I must say that I'm in love with them since it meets all the goals I asked for. My hair tangles less, feels more nourished, shinier, fuller and it keeps straight for longer. I don't have to straighten it every single day as I used to.

No voy a enrollarme más y os voy a comentar los pasos que seguí para formularlo:
PASO 1
Nos piden que definamos nuestro cabello. Esta parte puede resultar difícil de rellenar. Yo me basé en los comentarios que me habían hecho mis peluqueras y rellené con: Rizado, fino y seco.
PASO 2
Nos indican que seleccionemos 5 resultados que queremos conseguir con estos productos. En mi caso seleccioné: hidratación profunda, reparar puntas abiertas, cuidar el largo, rellenar el cabello y brillo.
Además, podemos elegir que nuestra fórmula sea libre de siliconas, pero nos advierten de que eliminarlas tendrá sus consecuencias en el uso y experiencia con estos productos.

I'm gonna try to show you the formulation process it as sweet and short as possible:
STEP 1
You're asked to to define our hair structure. This may be difficult to fulfill so I took the comments of my hairdresser into account choosing the following: Curly, fine and dry.
STEP 2
Then, you choose 5 goals you'd like to achieve by using these products. I chose: deep condition, fix split ends, lengthen, replenish hair and shine.
Moreover, you could choose to create a silicone-free formulation but you are aware of the changes in the results and the experience with the products will vary.
PASO 3
El siguiente apartado es para elegir la fragancia y su intensidad. Yo elegí la de lavanda y eucalipto con intensidad media y huele rico pero sin exagerar. No se aprecia demasiado una vez secamos el cabello.
PASO 4
En este paso decides el nombre con el que personalizar el bote y el color. Yo decidí escribir mi nombre y no añadirle ningún tinte.

STEP 3
The next step is to decide the fragrance and its intensity. I chose the lavender and eucalyptus one with a medium intensity. It's nice and soft but you can't tell it once you dry your hair up.
STEP 4
You choose the customized name to be printed on the bottle and the dye. I wrote my name on it and chose mine to have no dye.
Finalmente, puedes elegir el tamaño y la frecuencia en la que quieres recibir tus productos. Yo decidí que fuera un único envío y elegí el tamaño más pequeño para probarlo.
Finally, you choose the size and frequency of the shipping. I chose to receive just one pack of items of the smallest size so I could try it and decide whether I like dit or not.
